As part of our dynamic team, you will help maintain and evolve a federal reputed company benefits website by enhancing existing features and building new functionality that supports benefits application forms. You bring strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and backend API integrations, along with a passion for people leadership – mentoring and developing team members while fostering collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, effective communication.

Location: Remote with potential infrequent travel to Client site.

This is a full-time position contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Product Manager and government stakeholders to guide the program's reputed company and technical implementation.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support for solutions built with Ruby on Rails, React, and backend API integrations, ensuring performance, reputed company, and scalability.

• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, driving delivery across iterative development cycles.
• Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, accessibility, and compliance with federal standards.
• Mentor and reputed company engineering team members through code reviews, technical coaching, and day-to-day leadership.
• In collaboration with the Product Manger, guide the team in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and technical execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features and enhancements.

Must Haves

• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of software development experience with demonstrated progression into technical leadership
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React, including building and maintaining scalable web applications
• Ability to reputed company in a remote, collaborative agile environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive alignment across product, design, and engineering teams
• Experience with mentoring, guiding, and developing more junior team members
