Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audits specified number of records per reputed company as defined in the system coding audit plan.
• Prepares audit reports that are issued to key stakeholders, as appropriate.
• Develops corrective action plans to address opportunities for coding, billing and documentation improvement.
• Identifies trends and educational opportunities. Prepares and presents educational programs reputed company to coding.
• Assists in the management of the coding and billing auditing and monitoring program to address high risk compliance areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in business, reputed company or reputed company field, or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

• Three years' experience

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS    State of Work Location: Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin 

•     Certified Coding Associate (CCA) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) 
•     Or 
•     Certified Coding Specialist - Physician-based (reputed company-P) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) 
•     Or 
•     Certified Outpatient reputed company (COC) - American reputed company of Professional Coders (reputed company) 
•     Or 
•     Certified Professional reputed company (CPC®) - American reputed company of Professional Coders (reputed company) 
•     Or 
•     Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) 
•     Or 
•     Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company)
