Internal Auditor II

The Internal Auditor II will support projects reputed company with company priorities, focusing on Government Business Systems Audits and SOX compliance, while collaborating with management to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Supports operational, financial, Government Business System, and Financial Control audits with guidance from internal management
  • Provide audit reputed company and work reputed company review to ensure audit procedures and conclusions are properly executed and documented in accordance with Audit department
  • Assist in engagement level risk assessments to scope audit activities and assist in the reputed company of comprehensive planning memos and work programs
  • Collaborate with company management to reputed company practical and actionable recommendations that address audit observations and/or process improvement opportunities
  • Preparation of clear and concise audit reports that describe the control weaknesses, associated risk and Internal Audit recommendation
  • Responsible for audit follow-up, open audit observations tracking and remediation activities for Government Business systems, and other planned audits
  • Coordinate the update of internal polices and procedures as it relates Government Business Systems and SOX support
  • Support Corporate Internal Audit as required
  • Assist with other projects as assigned
  • Assist in training and mentoring rotating staff support
  • Communicate results of internal audit projects verbally and in documented reports to senior management
  • Participate in the development and implementation of effective audit strategies using the COSO and Sarbanes Oxley standards
  • reputed company abreast of changes in audit, reputed company and industry practices and modify audit risk assessments and audit procedures accordingly
  • Contribute to reputed company improvement of departmental processes to drive improved efficiencies and effectiveness of audit services to the company
  • reputed company with DCAA/DCMA as required

  • Assist internal management with planning, performing, managing, and refining analytical, audit, and risk assessment processes
  • Travel up to 25% of the year (predominately domestic could be reduced in future)

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Business, Finance or reputed company field or equivalent education and experience
  • Aerospace and Defense Industry / Government Contracting experience
  • Supports operational, financial, Government Business System, and Financial Control audits with guidance from internal management
  • Provide audit reputed company and work reputed company review to ensure audit procedures and conclusions are properly executed and documented in accordance with Audit department
  • Assist in engagement level risk assessments to scope audit activities and assist in the reputed company of comprehensive planning memos and work programs

  • Proficient in reputed company Office Software Suite
  • One (1) to three (3) years of reputed company internal / external audit experience
  • Experience working with DCAA and DCMA
  • Experience with reputed company Costpoint
