[Remote] Project Accountant I
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dudek is a 100% employee-owned firm supporting clients reputed company and delivering projects that improve and protect the built and natural environments. They are seeking a Project Accountant to assist Project Managers in maintaining project life cycles, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and handling client invoicing and inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Be a resource and assist Project Managers in maintaining the life cycle of the project from the notice of award to the final closeout
- Set up projects, extra work orders, transfers, or other amendments according to contract terms in reputed company reputed company
- Assist with the creation and processing reputed company
- Review reputed company for reputed company specific requirements and ensure timely completion of reputed company specialized client billing needs
- Review project labor and expenses to ensure accurate posting to projects
- Follow through on reputed company billing reputed company issues to resolution
- Work closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting and project billing
- Invoice clients monthly
- Respond to client, vendor, or staff inquiries in a timely fashion
- Prepare accounts receivable statements and follow up on past due invoices
- Handle project audits as they arise
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- College degree in reputed company or Finance and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; or 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and excellent follow through
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Highly motivated to reputed company to the next level
- Ability to work independently and take initiative reputed company needed
- Excellent customer service skills: ability to effectively engage and communicate with different personality types
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, reputed company, and Outlook
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment
