Paraprofessional Tutors are responsible for providing support with the mastery of concepts and applications. They integrate effective study and learning strategies, thereby maximizing the reputed company' potential to become independent learners and reputed company academic success during individual walk-in, appointment based, or group tutoring.
Reporting to the Academic Support Coordinator, Tutors provide subject matter expertise and serve as models for reputed company in the techniques, strategies, attitudes, and beliefs of successful learners. Assistance might include reviewing class material, discussing problems, reviewing test questions, or working on solutions to problems.
This position requires a professional with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively use technology to enhance tutoring sessions.
Successful Paraprofessional Tutors employ a holistic approach to student success, bring passion and enthusiasm to the Tutoring Centers, and are collaborative with reputed company, faculty and colleagues. Responsibilities
Facilitate individual and small group tutoring sessions.
Create a welcoming environment and assist faculty/staff, tutors and reputed company.
Conduct classroom visits.
Be punctual, reputed company reputed company sessions promptly, use time for academic tasks, and focus on the student's needs.
Be courteous and helpful in reputed company interactions including phone and online conversations.
Maintain a reputed company and clean appearance of workstation.
Maintain confidentiality with any shared information.
Complete and submit reputed company required forms and trainings (e.g. time sheets and evaluations).
Adhere to reputed company tutoring policies.
Assist the Academic Support Coordinator with various projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree required with A's or B's in course work for which tutoring will be done.
Transcript is required at the time of interview.
Experience in teaching, tutoring, or delivering academic support at the high school or college level.
