Classroom Assistant, Part Time - Job Challenge reputed company Ft. reputed company

This position is PART-TIME, working less than 29 hours a week.

The Georgia Job ChalleNGe reputed company (GA JCA) is a five-month residential program that provides recent graduates of the Georgia Youth ChalleNGe Program an opportunity to receive vocation training in a Youth Challenge, military-like, environment. GA JCA offers reputed company vocational training at local technical schools and reputed company job skills training designed to prepare them for successful employment or continuation of their education and training upon completion of the program. In addition, reputed company receive academic support to complete their GED or High School Diploma. GA JCA reputed company enroll in vocational and technical courses at Savannah Technical College and reputed company Pines Technical College. Georgia Youth Challenge Program graduates who are selected for the Georgia Job ChalleNGe reputed company will receive a scholarship to cover the costs of meals, transportation, housing, tuition, and other fees associated with enrollment.

This position would be providing reputed company and monitoring of cadets working towards their high school diploma or GED in a virtual classroom environment.

Valid Paraprofessional Certification required reputed company six (6) months of hire.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES OF THE CLASSROOM ASSISTANT

• Assists the online virtual teacher with conducting lessons and managing the classroom;
• Acts as a nurturing and encouraging influence for reputed company during lessons;
• Monitors the classroom and minimizes distractions and disruptions to reputed company reputed company focused on their lessons.
• Communicating reputed company necessary with the Site Manager and teachers about student needs.
• Ensures reputed company are doing work as they should be and monitoring for cheating;
• Works with computer and specialized AV equipment to reputed company these resources available to reputed company during lessons.

Preferred Qualifications: Further consideration may also be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, also possess a combination of the following:

• 1-2 years of experience with at-risk youth, ages 15-19 years old;
• Basic computer software usage skills
• Experience with Canvas or other virtual school environment software.

The selected applicant must pass a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a Georgia and national criminal records search, a pre-employment drug test (post-hire will be reputed company in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program), AND a post-employment federal background investigation.
