POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a software engineer who thinks like a product builder to design and reputed company our reputed company AI-based data insights and analytics platform. You'll work at the intersection of software engineering, data architecture, and AI to create systems that don't just store data, but actively generate insights and drive decision-making.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build Next-Gen AI-Based Analytics Platform

• Apply software engineering best practices: clean code, testing, CI/CD, version control, code reviews.

• Design systems with scalability, observability, and reliability in mind.
• Build with modern development practices and tools.

1. Innovation and Problem-Solving

• Proactively identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in data systems and processes.
• Experiment with new technologies and approaches to solve reputed company data challenges.

1. Migration and Maintenance

• Support and maintain existing data warehouse infrastructure during the transition period.
• Plan and execute migration strategies from legacy systems to the new platform.
• Ensure business continuity while building the future state architecture.

1. Collaboration and Leadership

• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the data engineering practice.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Spark Streaming, etc.).

• Experience with modern data tooling: DBT (Data Build Tool), data orchestration frameworks.

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and database design is a plus.

• Expert-level proficiency in both Python and SQL—you should be equally comfortable in both languages.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: version control (Git), testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, code quality practices.
• Self-starter with a track record of identifying problems, proposing solutions, and driving them to completion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
