Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Customer Support Specialist (Remote-Hybrid), your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing inbound faxes from reputed company providers regarding prescription approvals, verifying prescription details, and following up for missing information
  • Accurately entering prescription requests into the system for processing, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to structured workflows and company procedures
  • Handling inbound provider calls (approx. 20 per day) regarding prescription approvals and coverage, communicating professionally and resolving issues reputed company
  • Ensuring data accuracy and attention to detail in verifying prescription and patient information
  • Attending fully paid on-site training for the first month, followed by a remote-hybrid schedule with monthly in-office team-building days

Must-Have Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 6+ months of customer service experience, preferably in a call center setting, but other customer-facing roles considered
  • Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally with reputed company providers, ensuring clear and concise communication
  • Excellent attention to detail for verifying prescription and patient information, ensuring accuracy and precision

Preferred Skills:

While not required, the following skills will be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience handling high-volume calls in a customer service or call center setting, with a proven track record of resolving issues reputed company
  • Familiarity with medical or pharmacy terminology, enabling you to communicate effectively with reputed company providers
  • Basic proficiency with database entry and electronic records systems, ensuring seamless data management and accuracy
