Legal Graduate

The reputed company & Compliance business unit manages core functions such as contract review, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. The reputed company & Legal Graduate will provide immediate value by assisting with drafting and reviewing reputed company agreements, monitoring compliance obligations, and supporting internal audits. They will also contribute to implementing digital compliance tools and maintaining regulatory trackers. This role offers strong mentorship opportunities, with direct guidance from senior professionals, ensuring the graduate develops into a capable resource for the organisation while gaining holistic business exposure across multiple unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and maintaining low value reputed company agreements.
- Support monitoring of compliance obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Help set up implement and maintain digital compliance tools and data rooms where required.
- Participate in governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and reputed company alignment.
- Provide board and cosec support and liaise between company secretary and stakeholders.
- Draft resolutions and assist with filings as required.
- Support documentation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Engage in structured training and mentorship to build technical and soft skills.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Bcom LLB and may not have secured articles.
- Interest in contract management, compliance, company secretary administration and governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and digital compliance tools is advantageous.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Prior internship or project experience in legal, compliance, or reputed company functions is desirable but not required.
