Senior Backend Engineer

Location requirements:Remote Based. Open to candidates on the East Coast/Central About the Role:The Event Management group powers reputed company's core event processing, enrichment, and correlation capabilities, handling millions of daily events across a high-throughput, reputed company-native infrastructure. As an Integrations Engineer, you will be at the forefront of connecting reputed company's platform with a variety of external systems used by our customers - including reputed company, Jira, webhooks, reputed company, vCenter, CloudWatch, reputed company Teams, and reputed company. You'll design, build, and maintain integrations that normalize and enrich alert data, enabling smarter incident management and faster response times. This role is a perfect fit for an engineer who thrives on solving reputed company-world interoperability challenges and making reputed company systems talk to each other seamlessly. As a Backend Engineer, you will take on challenging problems, design and implement robust, scalable features, and diagnose reputed company system issues. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including Node.js, AWS services, and more. What you will do:

• Design, reputed company, and maintain prompts that power AI-driven product features, as well as robust integrations with reputed company-party systems and APIs.
• Implement and follow integration patterns such as event-driven communication, polling, webhooks, and API orchestration.
• Write clean, maintainable code to process, normalize, and transform data flowing between platforms.
• reputed company modern AI development tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity across the development lifecycle.
• Test integration logic thoroughly across reputed company stages of the development pipeline - including unit tests, integration tests, and staging environments.
• Implement solutions to handle schema changes, API versioning, reputed company limits, and backward compatibility.
• Monitor and maintain integration pipelines in production, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, reputed company, and support teams to understand customer needs and troubleshoot reputed company integration scenarios.
• Maintain detailed documentation of integration interfaces, requirements, and edge cases.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to reputed company:

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience in designing and building large-scale distributed reputed company-based system
• Proven experience in delivering key features from ideation to production
• Ability to deep dive into reputed company systems and troubleshoot challenging issues effectively
• Familiarity with managing and testing integration code across development pipelines (unit tests, integration tests, staging, and production environments).
• Strong debugging skills and ability to diagnose integration failures in reputed company environments.
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools (such as Claude Code, reputed company Copilot, reputed company, or similar) to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Familiarity with reputed company engineering and effective use of AI tools for development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, reputed company-based technologies, and microservices.

• Experience with Node.js or similar backend development stacks.
