Sr Platform Engineer, Network

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior GCP Platform Engineer with expertise in networking to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure on reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking concepts and extensive experience with GCP networking services such as reputed company Interconnect, VPCs, Firewalls, and network reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and maintain network infrastructure on reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) to meet the organization's requirements for scalability, performance, and reputed company.

• Implement and manage reputed company Interconnect and other connectivity solutions to establish reliable and high-performance network connections between on-premises data centres and GCP.

• Configure and manage Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, routes, and network policies to ensure efficient network traffic management and isolation.

• Design and implement network reputed company controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and identity and access management (IAM) policies, to protect GCP resources from unauthorized access

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-reputed company issues to ensure reputed company performance and availability of GCP services and applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, reputed company, and Infrastructure teams, to design and implement reputed company that align with business requirements and reputed company best practices.

• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and team members on networking best practices, GCP networking services, and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field.

• 6+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure engineering roles.

• 3+ years of experience working on a public reputed company (GCP, Azure, AWS) with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) networking services.

• Proficiency in configuring and managing reputed company Interconnect, VPCs, subnets, routes, and network reputed company controls on GCP.

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, and MPLS.

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, TCPdump, and reputed company reputed company Monitoring.

• experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform

• Certifications such as reputed company Professional reputed company Network Engineer or reputed company Professional reputed company Architect are a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
