Senior AU Tax Accountant
We are looking for an reputed company Senior AU Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on Australian taxation experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a solid grasp of Xero Tax and Xero Tax Manager. Experience in a people management or supervisory role is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate and individual tax returns in compliance with Australian tax regulations.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide tax advice.
- Utilize Xero Tax and Xero Tax Manager for tax preparation and workflow management.
- Provide support to junior accountants and collaborate with the wider team to meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date on the latest ATO changes and ensure compliance across reputed company filings.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategic solutions to clients.
- Contribute to internal process improvement and documentation.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in Australian taxation, ideally reputed company a public reputed company firm.
- Proficiency in Xero Tax and Xero Tax Manager is essential.
- Strong understanding of corporate and individual tax regulations in Australia.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in a people management or team reputed company role is a plus.
