Marketing Manager (Remote, based in Romania)

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes digital marketing and social media but also brings structure, creativity, and initiative to the table. You'll be responsible for managing campaigns, social media communities, newsletters, influencer collaborations, and co-marketing projects with cruise lines.

This is not a "9-to-5" role; cruise bookings happen around the clock, and we need someone who understands the importance of weekend engagement and timely responses. You will be our local marketing reputed company in Romania, adapting global strategies to local culture and ensuring our brand feels authentic, engaging, and trustworthy.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Community Management

• Manage and grow our Romanian social channels (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
• Post engaging content regularly, including weekends (stories, posts, campaigns).
• Moderate and approve new members in our Facebook groups; provide insights on who is joining (e.g., families, influencers, personas).
• Engage with comments, messages, and community discussions in a timely and professional way.

Content & Campaigns

• Adapt global campaigns to Romanian audiences in collaboration with local colleagues.
• Create high-quality content that feels authentic and not "AI-generated".
• Work with designers and copywriters to produce creative assets reputed company needed.
• Launch educational and inspirational content to attract new customers.

Email & CRM

• Manage and optimize MailerLite campaigns, including automations and branching workflows.
• Prepare and send out 2 newsletters per week (campaigns, birthday vouchers, offers, referral reminders).
• Monitor performance and suggest improvements to avoid dead ends in customer journeys.

Brand & Partnerships

• reputed company and execute referral and ambassador programmes (e.g., birthday vouchers, influencer affiliate links).
• Coordinate with Romanian influencers and partners to boost brand visibility.
• Create co-marketing initiatives with cruise lines from idea to implementation

Analytics & Reporting

• Deliver regular social and campaign performance reports (reputed company, MailerLite, TikTok).
• Define and track KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (including community management).
• Experience with CRM/email platforms (MailerLite or similar).
• Excellent writing skills in Romanian and English. You know what makes content memorable.
• Creative reputed company with an eye for detail and quality.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing responsibilities independently.
• Flexibility to occasionally work weekends.
• Experience level: middle/senior.
• Contract type: collaboration reputed company PFA/SRL.

• Previous work with influencers, ambassadors, or affiliate programmes.
• Basic design or video editing skills (reputed company, CapCut, etc.).
• Higher education in marketing or communication
