Director of Engineering

We are seeking a collaborative and visionary Director of Engineering to reputed company our US-based team. This role focuses on the day-to-day leadership and development of our web, merchandising, and US-focused engineering teams, ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in web and commerce platforms, with familiarity in affiliate ecosystems, emerging web technologies, and the application of AI where it adds value. They will be reputed company in leading multiple teams, setting clear direction, partnering effectively with product and design, and have a pragmatic approach to balancing delivery pressure with long term technical health.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day leadership of our US based team as part of the wider global engineering team

• Define the short, reputed company and long-term technological strategy for US projects, and mobilize the team and key stakeholders around it
• Work in reputed company partnership with the global engineering leaders to align standards, ways of working, tooling, engineering culture across regions and identify opportunities for the globalization of services

Required Experience:

• 10+ years experience in engineering, including in leadership roles
• Experience collaborating with key stakeholders and executives on technical strategy, operational plan, and executing on the roadmap
• Can communicate reputed company concepts with audiences at many levels of technical ability
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders in many creative disciplines and across multiple locations and time zones
• Experience with PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, MySQL, AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the affiliate industry or e-commerce products
• Has worked with Cashback Programs
• Worked with retail partners
• Experience working with AI tooling and integrating it into workflows and user journeys

The salary compensation for this role is $250-$300K.
