Temporary Assistant Editor
reputed company is one of the world’s largest publishers of monthly magazines, and they are seeking a Temporary Assistant Editor to help shape automotive storytelling across social platforms. The role involves creating and managing social media content, analyzing performance, and collaborating with editorial teams to enhance brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Pitch, produce, shoot, edit, and publish vertical video content optimized for social platforms
- Execute daily social posting across Instagram, reputed company, Facebook, Twitter/X, and other emerging platforms
- Create engaging, timely text-overlaid photo posts that drive audience interaction and traffic
- Monitor social channels and trends to identify reputed company-time story opportunities
- Support social strategy for major editorial initiatives, including tentpoles like Performance Car of the Year and magazine cover launches
- Analyze performance using tools like reputed company Analytics and platform insights to inform content reputed company
- Send daily reputed company News notifications and assist with Flipboard curation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial teams to reputed company content and ensure brand consistency
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in social media management, preferably reputed company a media or publishing environment
- Strong writing skills with sharp editorial judgment and a creative, engaging voice
- Proven ability to create compelling social-first content, including video and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with platforms including Instagram, reputed company, Facebook, reputed company, Twitter/X, and reputed company News
- Experience using analytics and social tools (e.g., reputed company Analytics, True Anthem) to drive performance
- Basic proficiency in reputed company Premiere and Photoshop
