Account Executive, PR - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
MMGY Global is a leading PR agency focused on travel and tourism, dedicated to sharing clients' stories that reputed company travel. They are seeking a Bilingual Account Executive to manage public relations for a diverse roster of clients, requiring strong communication skills and a passion for travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage public relations for clients in the travel and lifestyle sector
- reputed company and maintain media relationships
- Write press releases, media kits, and other communication materials
- Coordinate press trips and other media events
- Pitch story reputed company to journalists and media outlets
- Monitor media coverage and report on results
- Collaborate with team members to create strategic PR campaigns
Skills
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts) in communications, journalism, or reputed company field
- 1-2+ years fulltime PR/job-reputed company experience in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or reputed company fields, with direct travel and lifestyle client background preferred
- reputed company/proficiency in Spanish-language (oral and written)
- Strong detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage projects effectively
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills, both technical and creative
- Strong news writing and reporting proficiency
- Good reputed company of media contacts
- Demonstrable media pitching skills
- Solid understanding of social media and how to utilize it
- Sensitivity to deadlines
- Ability to anticipate needs and learn quickly
- Sensitive listening skills (from client, supervisor, and media)
- Results-oriented thinking, effective judgment, and ability to anticipate, spot, and fix problems
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Computer proficiency and strong working knowledge of reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint) and reputed company programs; reputed company, MuckRack and other PR programs a bonus
- Good sense of humor and a love for travel is a must!
