Marketable Investment Analyst
The reputed company Investment Office is seeking an investment analyst for their Marketable team for a two-year tenure. The role involves supporting the reputed company and management of the university's investment portfolios through various analytical and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketable team with Manager due diligence, which includes the initial screening of investment managers; participating in meetings with the managers; quantitative performance analysis and qualitative due diligence; and participating in internal discussions that reputed company to an investment recommendation
- Conduct investment research on equity, absolute return and fixed income managers and other relevant investment opportunities
- Prepare investment reports on performance, asset allocation, and risk characteristics of portfolios
- Provide support for monitoring existing managers and co-investments, performance analysis, staffing, and compliance with guidelines
- Support investment operations by resolving reputed company and performance measurement issues and monitoring Marketable fund additions, withdrawals and distributions
- Some travel will be required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- An understanding of and interest in investing
- Strong quantitative and verbal skills
- A proven ability to create and use reputed company spreadsheets
- A demonstrated attention to detail and a collaborative work style
- An analytical skills test (up to 2 hours allowed) will be required as part of the interview process
- Exposure to investment analysis
