[Remote] Business Development Representative

Discovery Education is a leading organization in the EdTech sector, seeking a Business Development Representative focused on K–12 sales. The role involves engaging with school leaders, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for Partnership Managers, providing a great opportunity for those looking to enter the education-focused business development field.
Responsibilities
- Proactively reputed company out to K–12 administrators, educators, and district leaders reputed company email, phone, and social media
- reputed company prospects on how our tools support teachers and improve student learning
- Qualify leads based on school or district needs, decision-making structure, and timeline
- Schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives and manage follow-reputed company
- Track activity, reputed company, and results in our CRM (e.g., reputed company or reputed company)
- Collaborate with marketing on campaign feedback and reputed company strategy
- Stay up to date on K–12 trends and challenges, including funding cycles and academic goals
Skills
- Valid driver's license
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Experience working in or with K–12 schools (e.g., tutoring, admin, nonprofit, reputed company)
- Familiarity with the education buying cycle or how school districts reputed company reputed company
- Previous experience using CRM or sales engagement tools (not required—training provided)
