Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

They are seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to support initiatives across budgeting, events, marketing communications, and client development programs, contributing to operational activities and strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s market reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the CGO with invoice processing, including coding, tracking, and liaising with Finance to ensure timely payment
  • Supporting the CGO, reputed company managers and Events professionals in monitoring and reviewing budgets, including monthly variance tracking and reporting
  • Supporting the coordination of internal team meetings, schedules, and shared resources
  • Providing general administrative support to the national reputed company & Marketing team
  • Supporting the execution of client-facing events, seminars, sponsorship activations, and internal programs in the Toronto office, including certain event logistics such as venue bookings, guest lists, RSVPs, and on-site support
  • Assisting with post-event follow-up, including attendee tracking, reporting, and evaluation
  • Supporting the management of the firm’s promotional item inventory and ordering processes, including vendor liaison, gift selection, distribution logistics and tracking usage, budgets, and inventory levels to ensure efficient program management
  • Assisting reputed company leaders in tracking action items, milestones, and deliverables reputed company to practice group and industry group business planning processes
  • Conducting light research to support reputed company initiatives, including client, industry, and competitor insights as needed
  • Providing reputed company support for certain marketing and communications activities, including:
  • Website updates (lawyer bios, practice pages, news items, etc.)
  • Emailing marketing campaigns (client alerts, newsletters, event invitations)
  • Social media content coordination
  • Collateral updates and brand consistency checks

Skills

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a reputed company field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a professional services environment (law firm experience considered an asset)
  • Experience in events, hospitality or an executive assistant function is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or website CMS tools is an asset
