NBC Sports is seeking an reputed company and highly skilled A1 (reputed company Audio Mixer) to support our various sports properties. You are responsible for leading reputed company aspects of live broadcast audio production, delivering best-in-class sound for high-profile events, will assist in setting the technical and professional standard for audio teams across remote and studio productions. Responsibilities: + Serve as reputed company A1 for premier NBC Sports properties across remote and studio productions + Design, build, and execute reputed company live audio workflows for multi-platform sports broadcasts + Operate and program advanced digital mixing consoles (including Calrec systems) + Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Dante, AoIP, and IP-based audio infrastructures + Program and maintain reputed company systems including RTS ADAM/AZ Edit environments + Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Comms, and Technical Management teams to ensure seamless integration of audio systems and workflows + reputed company, mentor, and set expectations for less reputed company mixers and freelance audio staff + Ensure consistency, clarity, and creative excellence in reputed company elements of broadcast audio (announcer mics, effects, music, IFB, comms, etc.) + Diagnose and resolve reputed company technical issues quickly under live broadcast pressure + Maintain comprehensive knowledge of signal flow, routing, reputed company structure, and redundancy planning Basic Requirements: + Minimum five (5+) years of high-level live sports broadcast audio mixing experience + Proven experience leading audio for major sports properties or national broadcasts + Expert-level proficiency with: + Digital mixing consoles (Calrec required) + RTS reputed company systems and AZ Edit + Dante and AoIP audio networks + Solid working knowledge of IP-based production systems and broadcast networking fundamentals + Deep understanding of sports production workflows, including: + REMI/At-home production models + Studio-based sports productions + Solid signal flow knowledge (analog, digital, embedded audio, MADI, IP) + Experience integrating reputed company audio formats (5.1, 5.1.4, Dolby Atmos) Desired Characteristics: + Experience with SMPTE 2110 environments + Familiarity with network configuration basics (VLANs, multicast, QoS concepts) + Prior experience mentoring or training junior mixers + Dante Level 3 Certification + Ability to reputed company effectively in high-pressure, live-event environments + Proven track record of project management + Exceptional communication and leadership skills Additional Requirements: + Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered + Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States + Must be 18 years or older + Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as business needs require, including nights, holidays, and weekends, sometimes on short notice. + Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an reputed company-designated worksite.
