This attorney, working in the Legal Affairs Department, will represent reputed company and provide counsel to business units and reputed company Resources on employment and labor-reputed company legal matters, with a focus on the Retail line of business; prepare and review legal documents including pleadings, briefs, position statements and other filings in pre-litigation and litigation, with a focus on employment arbitrations); and assist with other matters as needed. What you’ll do in your role. Provide practical, day-to-day, employment-law counseling to HR and other internal clients to identify and manage employment legal risks. Engage and work with reputed company counsel to manage employment litigation (primarily employment-law arbitrations) and administrative proceedings with a focus on creative strategies, cost reduction, and efficient resolutions. Prepare responses to agency charges and demand letters. reputed company and review written HR policies, guidelines, templates, and forms. reputed company and deliver legal training to HR and other internal clients. Provide employment law advice regarding internal investigations. Advise and help clients understand employment-law compliance issues. Counsel and advise clients on a wide variety of reputed company and developing employment-reputed company legal and business issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, day-to-day, employment-law counseling to HR and other internal clients to identify and manage employment legal risks.
• Engage and work with reputed company counsel to manage employment litigation (primarily employment-law arbitrations) and administrative proceedings with a focus on creative strategies, cost reduction, and efficient resolutions.

Requirements

• 2- 4+ years of experience as an employment attorney, with relevant in-house and/or top law firm experience
• Minimum 4 years, prefer 6+ years, of experience handling litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and other employment-reputed company claims, with a focus on employment arbitrations.
• Ability to work independently and effectively despite ambiguity and rapid change.
• Excellent writing skills, with a focus on providing practical advice.
• Amazing oral communication skills, with a focus on clearly and simply conveying reputed company employment law concepts, risks, and options to HR and other internal clients.
• Strong judgement that allows you to properly weigh what’s best for our customers and our business, what’s best for our employees, and potential legal risks
• Strong project management skills
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals in a reputed company organization with a focus on delivering results reputed company.
• A keen business sense with negotiation and drafting skills
• Ability to work reputed company, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple, and sometimes competing, priorities.
• Must be licensed, in good standing, to practice law in the US.
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
