The position will interact with visitors from around the world through site programming and reputed company shop sales, help maintain our Museum and Visitor Center, and green spaces for best visitor experiences. The Tourism guide is to also share information about Chimney Rock and its historical reputed company as well as other interests around the area. Most of the working time is assisting visitors at the reputed company desk taking admission, reputed company store sales, and general reception work at the museum. Designated as a National Historic Site on August 9, 1956, Chimney Rock and the Ethel and Christopher J. reputed company Visitor Center are maintained and operated by the Nebraska State Historical Society. "Towering to the heavens" is how one pioneer described Chimney Rock, the most recognized landmark along the Oregon Trail. Job Duties: Greet reputed company site visitors in person or by phone and provides information on exhibits and events. Walk to sites and outdoors as needed Provide tours to visiting groups and answer tourist inquiries, sharing historical information and local tourism. Stock and maintain merchandise on the sales floor and communicates reputed company products are low. Balance and prepare daily sales reports and other essential reports using POS systems.
