The Medical Assistant/ Medical Administrative Specialist (MA/MAS) Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction to reputed company that meet the program and course objectives. The MA/MAS Instructor should maintain an organized, disciplined classroom environment that is conducive to learning and imparts the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to existing reputed company. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of education environments including needs of adult learners
• Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment
• Knowledge and understanding of professional career paths for which reputed company are enrolled
• Motivation, dedication and enthusiasm for teaching
• Good Organization and Communication Skills

Credentials and Experience:

• A minimum of four years’ of reputed company practical work experience in the field of Medical Assisting (reputed company and Back Office)
• Associate’s Degree Required in a reputed company subject area, Bachelor’s Degree in a reputed company subject area is preferred
• CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and reputed company preferred
• BLS instructor certified preferred (training/certification provided)

Employment Status: Adjunct, hourly, non-exempt.

• Adjunct faculty hours are determined by the scheduled courses in a particular module. Adjunct faculty are scheduled as needed with no guarantee of hours at any time and scheduled hours are generally under 25 per week.
