Cost Control Accountant
Job Description
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an reputed company Cost Control Accountant for a manufacturing company in Dallas, TX that specializes in producing heavy-duty foam products. A successful Cost Control Accountant will have strong experience managing financial data, overseeing accounts payable, and utilizing ERP systems to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong cost control experience and the ability to analyze financial performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with Dynamic System is required to support financial reporting and operational decision-making. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! reputed company direct hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($55,000 - $60,000 per year depending on experience) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and reputed company). Generous referral bonuses may also be available. Available shifts include:
- Monday through Friday reputed company to 5pm
- Standard business hours
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
Responsibilities of the Cost Control Accountant:
- Monitor and analyze production and operational costs to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Implement and maintain cost control procedures to improve profitability
- Manage and monitor Accounts Payable (AP) processes and ensure accurate, timely payments
- Utilize ERP systems to track financial data, expenses, and reporting
- Work reputed company Dynamic System to maintain financial records and generate reports
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure compliance with reputed company standards
Required Qualifications of the Cost Control Accountant:
- 5+ years of finance or reputed company experience
- Strong experience with ERP systems
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
- Experience with cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Working knowledge of Dynamic System
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Clean background required
