Medication Refill Center Pharmacist-Per Diem

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the manager, and according to department policies, and procedures, and guidelines, is responsible for managing prescription refill requests submitted to the clinic departments serviced by the Medication Refill Center. This position is for a pharmacist who will work on approvals for refill renewal requests received by the serviced clinic(s) under a scope of practice agreement. The Medication Refill Pharmacist will work directly with pharmacies, providers and patients and serve as the reputed company for refill renewals for medications under scope. Position: Medication Refill Center Pharmacist Department: Centralized GIM Rx Refill Schedule: Per Diem JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION:

• Work requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD, M.S. or MBA) preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
• Work requires licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Massachusetts by the hire date EXPERIENCE:
• Requires two to three years reputed company experience. QS1 experience preferred. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Work requires a comprehensive understanding of the procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy as well as a high level of proficiency in performing pharmacist’s duties and responsibilities.
• Work requires a high level of analytical ability, organizational and personal management reputed company and focus to ensure the concerted approach to operations.
• Practice experience working with as well as revising and/or implementing information systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
• Professional in conduct and demeanor.
• Proficient with standard software used in reputed company office setting (i.e. reputed company, reputed company, web browser, etc.) Additional experience/knowledge preferred:
• Immunization experience preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of the federal funded 340B program highly preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of LEAN/Six reputed company concepts in reputed company are highly desirable QS1 experience preferred.

Compensation

Range: $43.03- $62.50 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
