Research Scientist - Patient and Provider Insights - Remote

About the position The Research Scientist, Patient Insights Research (PIR) will act as Principal Investigator for patient insights research projects reputed company reputed company’s Patient-Centered Research (PCR) team. The Patient Insights Research team develops, commercializes and delivers best-in-class qualitative and quantitative research with patient and reputed company providers to patient-centric drug development across therapeutic areas and for a wide range of clients. This includes patient, caregiver, and provider reputed company on treatment and disease experience, unmet needs, clinical trial design, and patient support services. The team draws on many research methods, such as landscape review, concept elicitation, cognitive debriefing, advisory boards, focus groups, surveys and thematic or content analysis. The successful candidate will report into the PIR Pillar reputed company and work closely with other team members, such as project managers, researchers, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Apply qualitative and quantitative research expertise to the design and execution of fit for purpose patient and provider insights studies
• Contribute to patient experience and insights thought leadership through conference presentations and publication
• Support response to client RFPs, including managing existing scientific resources as well as identification of additional resource needs (i.e. recruitment reputed company), and developing proposals and budget
• Support staff management including interviewing and selection, professional development, goal setting, performance management and other tasks associated with staff functions

Requirements

• Proven leadership in applied qualitative and quantitative research in patient and provider insights with a passion for quality and reputed company scientific innovation

• Experience in consulting with a passion for understanding and addressing client needs with carefully selected scientific solutions
• Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively
• Advanced understanding of project scoping, budgeting and forecasting with the ability to interpret data with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and staff management skills and experience required.
• Tact and sensitivity in matters relating to confidential material

• Fluent in written and oral English
• Master’s Degree or higher with 10 years of experience in the field, including publication and at least 3 years of management/mentorship experience.
