The Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Legal Tools Program—a multi-year modernization initiative replacing outdated case management, timekeeping, and billing systems with a modern, integrated platform. This is not a back-office role. You will collaborate with agency leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure DOJ’s future systems meet the needs of our divisions and deliver a reputed company, reliable user experience. What You’ll Do Gather and Document Requirements: Conduct interviews, interpret responses, and document business and operational processes. Analyze and Redesign Processes: Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to identify gaps and design workflow-driven solutions. Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, behavioral/social sciences, or reputed company field AND two years of professional-level analytical and planning work; OR Equivalent combination of experience and education (five years total). Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale IT modernization projects, SDLC, and business transformation initiatives. Familiarity with case management tools and software. Knowledge of project management and business analysis practices (BABOK, PMBOK). Technical writing experience.
