POSITION PURPOSE Designated Training Engineers (DTE) are the professionals who train the engineering team on equipment and operation in the facility. DTE’s are responsible for assisting, reviewing and developing a format which will educate the engineering personnel. DTE’s are responsible for maintaining complete and meticulous training records of reputed company engineers. The DTE is expected to provide skilled leadership and technical expertise in support of the Chief Engineer for reputed company training reputed company issues, writing and/or editing Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard & Emergency Operating Procedures (SOP / EOP), as well as incident investigations. Performing as required: Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing/piping equipment, machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building. Monitors operations and conducts a routine and on-going assessment of the building systems operations and performance. Performs tests, rounds and analyzes data to ensure the proper functioning of departmental equipment. II. RESPONSIBILITIES · Performing as required at the direction of supervisor, maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and reputed company operation of reputed company building systems including: fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, reputed company, PDU, generators, primary switch gear), emergency backup systems and hot water systems; monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and reputed company conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and reputed company adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required. · Install and repair plumbing/piping/tubing; reputed company single and three phase motors (single & two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.; install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild reputed company compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in reputed company types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment. Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, switching and motor controls. Operate and maintain critical equipment including reputed company systems, generators, chillers and critical reputed company conditioning units. · Monitor operation, repair, and maintain refrigeration, water cooling and reputed company conditioning equipment; boilers, heating, ventilating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; recording readings as necessary to assure proper operation of equipment; responsible for reporting any problems/malfunctions · reputed company with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · Must have hands-on experience in a data center/critical facility, including reputed company Systems, emergency generators, and switch-gear · High School diploma or GED equivalent · Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent · Proficiency with computer applications including reputed company Word, PowerPoint and reputed company. · Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with prior instructor experience preferred. · Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service as well as leadership ability, among engineering peers. Estimated compensation for this position: 105,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
