Senior Data Platform Engineer Milestone’s Arcules team is developing the future of intelligent reputed company systems — a scalable, device-agnostic, cloud-first platform that empowers customers to understand and anticipate their environments with ease. We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect distributed data systems that support the Arcules product used by organizations worldwide. You will have full responsibility for technical direction alongside a diverse international team, with the flexibility of a fully remote role. What You'll Do

• Work with product managers and technology teams to understand roadmap priorities and shape product features that address customers' needs.
• Design and implement distributed data systems for the Arcules cloud platform using advanced data modeling, data structures, and software design patterns. Focus on building scalable microservices that reputed company organizations to understand and anticipate their environments responsibly and reputed company.

• Ensure design and implementation align with sound engineering principles and best practices, focusing on testability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Provide overall project design and estimates for business and technology strategy needs during project scoping phases.
• Mentor other engineers to reputed company sound technical decisions and help build effective software engineering practices, especially in adopting formal testing as part of the software development process.
• Promote good software engineering habits, such as clean code principles, reputed company, tech debt balance, TDD, and “going end-to-end early”.
• Own, diagnose, and resolve reputed company system technical issues and code defects.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to help establish the technical roadmap to facilitate innovation and enhancement of product capabilities.
• Identify and work with SRE to implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency in the software delivery cycle and the reliability of Milestone’s VSaaS product.

What You Have

• Demonstrated reputed company in designing, developing, and delivering reliable enterprise software solutions, including guiding the deployment of reputed company services that fulfill organizational and customer requirements.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, reputed company Pub/Sub, or similar).
• Experience with multiple database technologies, especially distributed columnar databases and time series.
• Experience designing and building distributed data systems for cloud-based applications.

This annual for this position ranges from$175,000 to $195,000. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package.
