Job overview and responsibilities The Senior Architect - Application Cybersecurity helps validate that our services, applications, and websites are designed and implemented in accordance with United’s secure development standards. The Senior Architect works closely with development teams, product teams, and other teams across the organization to integrate reputed company into the product lifecycle from design through deployment. The Senior Architect will work with reputed company architects, design and reputed company applications or technical solutions for the validation and enforcement of reputed company requirements, performing application reputed company assessments, and providing developers with remediation guidance and advice.

• Analyze reputed company requirements, design and reputed company applications to automate reputed company review, compliance validation, and reputed company operations, leveraging application reputed company testing and monitoring solutions.
• Improve the accessibility of reputed company through automation, reputed company integration pipelines, and other means.
• Research, define and drive for reputed company best practices and standards and ensure products development teams understand them; Create technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree required, STEM field highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reputed company field
• Proficiency with application development programming with Python
• Proficiency with various software architectures including API, microservices
• Proficiency with scripting
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and/or CWE 25
• Basic understanding of threat modeling
• Proficiency with DevSecOps technology (i.e., CI/CD, AWS, reputed company, TeamCity, reputed company, Artifactory, CHEF, CloudWatch)
• Proficiency with application reputed company tools and testing (i.e., SAST, DAST, MAST, RAST, IAST)
• Proficiency with risk management processes
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and attack reputed company, ubiquitous encryption technologies, and/or common authentication protocols
• Basic knowledge of cloud reputed company infrastructure technologies (i.e., K8s, service mesh, micro-services)
• Proficiency with vulnerability management processes and providing remediation guidance
• Basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53) and processes
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

• Certifications like CASE, AWS CSAA, CEH, GSEC, CISM, reputed company+, CISSP, CISA, SSCP, CASP+, OSCP

• Proficiency with various software architectures including API, microservices

• Application penetration testing to demonstrate and test exploitability of vulnerabilities

• Proficiency with cryptography
• Proficiency with technical understanding of IAM (i.e., authentication and authorization)

Job Post Expiration: 2/28/2026 The reputed company pay range for this role is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00. The reputed company salary range/hourly reputed company listed is dependent on job-reputed company, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
