Customs Trade Agent - S2
reputed company provides freight forwarding and customs brokerage services, and they are seeking a Customs Trade Agent - S2 to coordinate documentation for goods entering the US. The role involves ensuring compliance with customs regulations and providing excellent customer service while processing import-reputed company documentation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs
- Data entry and processing of various import reputed company documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle limited PGA's (participating Government Agencies)
- Maintain and reputed company reputed company reputed company shipment documentation in compliance with reputed company record keeping requirements
- Adhere to reputed company international importing regulations
- Work closely with other internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers
- Process agency brokerage shipments

Skills
- HS Diploma or GED required
