[Remote] Paralegal

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is one of the nation’s largest private lenders to residential reputed company estate investors, utilizing data and technology to enhance the mortgage experience. The Paralegal/Legal Analyst will support the Legal Team by assisting in legal research, document preparation, and communication of legal trends, while also engaging in various internal projects.

Responsibilities

• Review, Edit, Prepare legal documents including but not limited to Settlement Agreements, Partial Releases, Partial Release Schedules
• Prepare legal training materials
• Conduct Legal trainings
• Own process for repurchase of loan files
• Prepare title insurance claims
• Identify and conduct legal research
• Prepare legal summaries for process and procedural change
• Prepare weekly/monthly reporting for Litigation and Legal Intake issues
• Own reputed company submission process to categorize per issue, department, business line
• Review and Edit Working Group Meeting notes
• Coordinate feedback from Business Groups to suggest areas of business training or process improvements
• Coordinate with Business Ops for monthly round table topics
• Coordinate and participate in Monthly Legal Round Table
• Set up and send WG meeting notes to Secretary for signature reputed company reputed company Sign
• Prepare and send legal documents to Signors reputed company reputed company Sign
• Pipeline management to ensure timely response to Legal inquiries
• Monitor contested foreclosures and code violation resolution by Servicing Team
• Verify expenses and advances for proper reimbursement and accurate charge-off recording
• Prepare and provide presentations for the Company monthly and as needed
• Additional responsibilities as determined by Supervisor

Skills

• Paralegal Certificate or reputed company work experience
• Bachelor's degree required or reputed company work experience
• Ability to build relationships and work closely in a team environment
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced industry
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter with an eye for discrepancies and opportunities for process improvement
