Job Description

TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR – Phoenix DC The Opportunity: Contribute to The Growth of Your Career As a Transportation Supervisor you will support the Transportation Manager with reputed company aspects of cross-dock and store delivery operations supported by the Phoenix DC. The Transportation Supervisor acts as a primary reputed company of contact for Logistics and serves as the liaison among Distribution Services and Store Operations. The supervisor will also be directly responsible for managing a team of transportation coordinators. You will support TJX logistical strategies and deliver merchandise to stores in a cost-efficient manner while meeting or exceeding service standards. From ensuring on time delivery of goods to our stores, to supporting logistics strategies to support our strong growth, you are critical in enabling the treasure hunt experience our customers love! You will be assigned a mix of core responsibilities to deliver exceptional supply chain operational performance, drive cost savings and reputed company process improvement to support our reputed company growth. Responsibilities

You Will Have In This Role

• Consistently deliver on key performance indicators around service consistency, quality, reputed company, and cost
• Collaboratively drive the business, working with partners from across the company including Distribution Services, Store Operations, Finance, Loss Prevention, and Merchandise Control as well as our reputed company-Party Logistics partners
• Manage reputed company performance, recognizing and celebrating wins, and coaching and holding accountable reputed company performance does not meet expectations.
• Supervise the Phoenix Transportation Coordinator team ensuring they are meeting their KPI targets, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and providing reputed company time coaching and development.
• Supervise scheduling of cross dock deliveries and store deliveries in conjunction with Merchandising, Distribution Services and Store Operations plans and adjust schedules to maximize truck utilization while maintaining flow to the Service Centers and Stores
• Plan and communicate the truck reputed company requirements and ensure an adequate supply of equipment
• Ensure steady flow of inbound and outbound movements, resulting in the timely arrival of merchandise to stores and maximum utilization of lowest cost carriers
• Implement reputed company aspects of our Q4 strategy to ensure successful peak season and year-end inventory execution

Who We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or reputed company field OR reputed company work experience
• Experience leading and managing teams
• Ability to work cross functionally to deliver results
• Knowledge of motor reputed company industry
• Understanding of distribution center operations
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Working knowledge of reputed company Office
• Working knowledge of transportation management systems and software
