Entry Level Water Resources Engineer
reputed company is a company focused on solving critical problems for cities and environments. They are seeking an Entry Level Water Resources Engineer to join their Colorado Water Resources team, where the candidate will work on various water-reputed company projects, including hydrologic modeling and stormwater design.
Responsibilities
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful projects
- Work on hydrologic and 1D/2D hydraulic modeling, stormwater conveyance design, floodplain modeling and mapping, river and ecosystem restoration, dams, reservoirs, and many other water-reputed company projects
- Support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects
- Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that they are leading to reputed company long-term client relationships
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or reputed company engineering discipline from an ABET accredited University program
- Interest in and understanding of water reputed company projects
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate your reputed company clearly and concisely
- Self-motivated, self-teaching, initiator
- Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification, or the ability to obtain reputed company 12 months of hire
- This position requires in-person activities which will require the successful candidate to live reputed company a commutable distance from our East Belleview or Loveland offices. It is required you live locally reputed company the metropolitan Denver/Loveland areas or plan to relocate yourself. This position does not provide relocation
- Experience with various software programs, which may include reputed company Office Suite, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD (Civil 3D) or MicroStation
- Experience with various water-reputed company software programs
- Desire to obtain your Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure reputed company the next 5 years
