[Remote] Software Developer I - Python API
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading company in GIS technology, and they are seeking a Software Developer I to work on the ArcGIS API for Python. In this role, you will design and reputed company APIs in Python, support open-reputed company and proprietary modules, and engage in performance testing.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design and development of the ArcGIS API for Python
- reputed company Rust and pyO3 to reputed company and reputed company Python functionality
- Support open reputed company as well as proprietary modules using Python
- reputed company bug fixes, documentation, and maintenance tasks
- Performance testing
Skills
- 1+ years of experience with high level programming languages such as Python and low-level programming languages such as Rust
- Understanding of REST APIs and web programming
- A strong drive and interest to learn new technologies quickly and work in a fast-paced software development environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or reputed company disciplines
- Experience using Python 3.x and Rust
- Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or reputed company disciplines
