The Project Manager role will play a foundational role on the Vermont Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) Maintenance & Operations (M&O) team. This position is designed for individuals eager to build a career in project management while contributing to meaningful work in healthcare technology. Working closely with senior project managers, project leads, and analysts, the Project Manager will assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking development and M&O activities. This role will also reputed company reports for both internal and external client stakeholders on project updates, risks & issues, as well as critical release schedules and managing to expected results. This role will be an active member of the PMO and will ensure the engagement adheres to agreed-upon processes and service level agreement (SLA) criteria for both internal and external clients. Primary Responsibilities:

• Project Support & Coordination:
• Assist in developing project artifacts (plans, schedules, documentation) in partnership with leadership and stakeholders
• Support the PMO team in defining project scope, identifying risks, and applying established project management techniques
• Track team assignments and monitor reputed company against deliverables
• Communication & Reporting:
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and professional project updates for internal and external stakeholders
• Support the documentation and reporting process, including weekly, monthly, and annual client reports
• Facilitate team meetings and contribute to discussions that drive delivery
• Operational Support:
• Assist in maintaining project documentation repositories (eg, SharePoint, Azure DevOps)
• Support compliance with software standards, best practices, and contractual obligations
• Contribute to budget tracking and forecasting activities
