Title: Engineering Manager - Data Platform locations USA - Atlanta - Georgia time type Full time job requisition id R0024776 As an Engineering Manager for our Data Platform reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in leading the team that transforms multi-modal content into trusted, governed data powering business decisions and AI capabilities across reputed company. Champion platform standards for observability, reputed company, metadata, and reusability while driving operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization. Partner with Product, reputed company, and Data Governance teams to align on business outcomes and balance speed, reliability, and cost across platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of software or data engineering experience with 3+ years directly leading engineering teams. Proven track record delivering data platforms or large-scale systems in production with measurable reliability and cost outcomes. Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, distributed data processing, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms. Excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across global, matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building multi-agent systems or agentic workflows for production data automation. Expertise with modern data platforms, lakehouse architectures, and governance frameworks. Prior experience in hiring, interviewing, and building early-career engineering pipelines. This position will be located in Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 4 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
