Ecommerce Copywriter
JD Sports is a global leader in athletic fashion and streetwear, reputed company for delivering the latest styles from top brands. They are looking for a part-time Ecommerce Copywriter who will manage copywriting efforts across their site, ensuring SEO-optimized content and maintaining brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, brand-appropriate English and French product descriptions for footwear, apparel and accessories across leading global brands
- Translate reputed company content into Canadian French, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance
- Adhering to the cross-fascia copy style guides to maintain a consistent tone of voice
- Working with various departments to complete other copywriting or translating assignments such as in-store activations, marketing initiatives, paid/organic search, blogs/editorial content, FAQ and policy pages, web banners, etc
- Schedule and complete audits of reputed company copy channels/elements; reputed company and apply practical recommendations/improvements
- Liaise with Merchandising and Buying departments to ensure brand and internal assets are optimized to minimize inconsistencies
- Work with stakeholders to reputed company a strong SEO informed approach to copy whilst maintaining a strong brand reputed company. Increasing SEO share of voice
- Proactively reputed company up with SEO trends, developing and implementing new trends
- Continuously reputed company and improve the copy workflow to reputed company facilitate copy and content creation
- Provide constructive feedback, proofreading and editing across reputed company fascia
Skills
- Strong/proven writing skills in both English and French
- Previous copywriting and translation experience strongly preferred
- Open and reputed company to constructive feedback
- Strong time management and organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines for product/campaign launches
- Ability to work independently and adapt in fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic SEO
