They are seeking a Junior Structural reputed company Engineer to support road and highway projects in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia regions, focusing on engineering and design assignments. The role involves performing engineering duties for reputed company design projects and assisting in field inspections and report preparation.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of engineering duties and design for reputed company design projects for various State DOT projects, as well as city and local community projects as well
- Will receive training on Microstation CAD software to reputed company reputed company design
- Responsible for the development of engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys and designs
- Under reputed company supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, develops the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements
- Provides support for other engineering activities as required
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or reputed company field), with a focus on structural classes
- Requires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
- Some reputed company work experience and/or internships in structural engineering are desirable
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is desirable
