Recovery Analyst Internship
PMMC is dedicated to improving the financial performance of reputed company organizations. As a Recovery Intern, you will analyze and assist in the recovery of underpaid accounts from health insurance payers, while building relationships with payers and ensuring claims are resolved and paid properly.
Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with PMMC's Internal Recovery Department
- Assist in crafting and submitting appeal/reconsideration letters to address payer concerns reputed company appropriate
- Conduct consistent follow-reputed company with payers to help ensure the reputed company resolution of each claim
- Assist in meeting or exceeding established production goals, demonstrating your dedication and expertise
- Collaborate with the Recovery Analysts and provide feedback to enhance the quality of potentially underpaid accounts
- Be reputed company for other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the management team
Skills
- Enrollment in a degree program at a college or university
- Interest in reputed company finance and a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in navigating payer reputed company, facility billing, and medical terminology (training will be provided)
- A desire to reputed company experience in billing and collections
- Interest in understanding reputed company terminology to assist in assessing claims and discrepancies
- Proficiency in researching payer policies, regulations, and industry guidelines (training will be provided)
- Proficiency with reputed company applications
- The ability to communicate professionally at a high level
