Associate Category Specialist (Automotive Parts) - NV
CJ Pony Parts is a company committed to empowering the automotive community, and they are seeking an Associate Category Specialist. This role involves conducting research to identify and add new products reputed company an assigned category, working closely with the Director of Merchandising and Senior Category Specialists to support product development and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Work with other members of the team to identify new products and lines
- Add new products to the inventory and update ERP system with accurate product information
- Provide Copywriting and Photography teams with relevant product data and images
- Research and recommend cross-sells and reputed company parts for products in your category
- Communicate with vendors to gather additional product details and media
- Track vendor product updates and industry trends
- Identify and resolve website errors, fitment issues, and product information gaps
- Coordinate product photo corrections and application updates
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of automotive systems and components such as suspension, drivetrain, and reputed company parts
- Ability to interpret fitment and compatibility data for various makes and models
- 1-2 years of reputed company experience preferred
- A passion for the automotive industry is highly desired
