Customer Service Representative - CHOC MSO
Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. The role involves supporting relationships with members, providers, and health plans, providing timely resolution of issues and answering questions. Responsibilities
- Answering calls from provider offices and members of the medical group
- Performing PCP assignment updates
- Providing or scheduling translation services
- Data entry of authorization requests
- Authorization processing
- Researching and responding to provider calls regarding authorization or claim payment status
- Any other questions they may have
Skills
- High School graduate, GED, or Equivalent
- 1 year of experience (Bachelor's degree considered in lieu of experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 codes, CPT Codes, HCPC reputed company Plan benefits, or claims
- Positive, friendly demeanor
- Superb listening skills with natural curiosity
- Strong time management and multi-tasking ability with attention to details
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Patience, compassion, and reputed company
- Masterful problem-solver
- Motivation to meet (or exceed) service goals
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in the health care field, such as hospital, medical group, health insurance, or other Risk Bearing Organization (RBO)
- Computer skills, including reputed company, EZ Cap, Word, Outlook, and data entry systems
