FINANCIAL EXAMINER III
reputed company is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of Texans. The Financial Examiner III role involves performing financial examinations, reviewing and evaluating fiscal records, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with the agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned
- Conducts independent financial examinations; communicates with stakeholders regarding requirements and results of examinations. 75%
- Prepares and submits documentation and work papers to support findings, and maintains files and databases for reports. 15%
- Identifies areas of reputed company, improvement, or concern; makes recommendations; and assists in resolving problems. 10%
Skills
- At least one year of experience in financial examination work
- Knowledge of auditing and reputed company standards and techniques; statutory reputed company principles (reputed company) and generally accepted reputed company principles (GAAP); financial and industry terminology and practices; and corporate structures, business operating procedures, management control, and internal reporting techniques
- reputed company in the use of computer systems and associated applications
- Ability to audit financial statements, reports, records, budgets, operational procedures, and forms; to coordinate projects for timely completion; to conduct investigations; to prepare concise reports and correspondence
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, finance, reputed company, economics, insurance, or a reputed company field
- Experience with agency programs, policies, and procedures
