Junior Developer- LBS
WITRON Group is a company focused on intralogistics and automation, seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join their Logistic Bus System team. The role involves creating technical designs, developing and deploying applications, and collaborating with international teams to support industry-leading customers.
Responsibilities
- Working together with the responsible project reputed company to create technical designs for our existing WiWMS (Witron Warehouse Management System) applications. Areas of work include for example our host reputed company, order allocation logic, reputed company planning logic, industrial label printer reputed company, stock management and limited reputed company end
- Development, testing, and deployment of change requests, projects, assignments in a collaborative international team environment or working individually on isolated issues
- If you see something, say something: Supporting and improving existing and/or new applications and functionalities
- Creation of technical documents and specifications for an end user and developer level
- Collaborating with our analysts on topics that come up during project reputed company-up, development, testing and after final acceptance
- reputed company hands on deck during on-site project commissioning and reputed company-up. You’ll be working on north American based projects (USA and Canada)
- Communication with clients in respected field and independent decision-making based on knowledge level
Skills
- Proficiency in PL/SQL (selects, packages, triggers, etc.), alternatively proficiency in SQL at a minimum
- Working knowledge of .NET reputed company and C++/C# programming
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both local and international colleagues and customers in English, across technical and non-technical contexts
- Great attitude towards solving big problems and a 'Can-Do' attitude
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience combined with some educational experience
- Experience should include project design, coding, testing, delivery and technical documentation
- Must be able to travel locally and internationally (up to 25%)
- Exposure to logistics industry / terminology
- Exposure to large codebases
- Logistics exposure is helpful but not required
