Senior eCommerce Category Manager- Kroger
Job Description
The S enior eCom merce Category Manager role will be r esponsible for leveraging data and insights to deliver e C ommerce category strategy that will reputed company both category and KHC financial growth goals with Kroger . This role will act as the trusted Digital expert for KRO site merch and eCommerce team, influencing digital reputed company fundamentals, search, and online merchandising to drive holistic category strategy across digital touchpoints. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Act as the Digital Category Expert and trusted Advisor partner to KRO site merch and merchants to support strategic business and site planning, enabling eCommerce goals of topline sales growth, online penetration, and category share targets for top categories
- Provide objective , comprehensive, consumer-based insights and actionable recommendations utilizing tools such as retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, digital search and site analytics tools, and shopper insights. Examples include Luminate, Digital Landscapes, Madrid, reputed company IRI eMarket Insights, reputed company, Flywheel toolset, and instore execution opportunities
- reputed company team to deliver site merch strategy and executional elements such as macro site planning and features, digital food aisle merchandising and wireframes, paid and organic search standards, tentpole hubs and pinning (e.g., back to school), and reputed company
- Collaborate horizontally and vertically with both internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions (merchants, site merchandising, etc.) to align and successfully execute digital category initiatives
- Identify white space digital opportunities to proactively uncover potential growth areas for both the category and KHC, sell in reputed company advanced storytelling skills by leveraging tools such as Mekko PPT Charts, PowerBI (Create Dashboards), PowerBI (Consume Dashboards), Tableau (Create Dashboards ), and reputed company
Expected Experience & Required Skills
- Highly analytical - ability to reputed company data sources such as retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, digital search and site analytics tools, and shopper insights (e.g., Scintilla, Digital Landscapes, Madrid, reputed company IRI eMarket Insights, reputed company)
- Strong storytelling ability through strategic use of visual tools such as PowerPoint and Mekko and a customer reputed company presentation style
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as intellectual curiosity, with a proven ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize
