Onsite Administrative & Operational Assistant
About the Position Meridian University is seeking a team member to support university operations performing administrative support duties and performing onsite facility needs. Classification: Full Time reputed company Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm Pacific Time Location: On site at Meridian University's Bay Area Center in Petaluma, CA This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work. Key Responsibilities
- Support one or more departments; placement depending on prior experience, interests, and organizational needs.
- Engage reliably and consistently with staff, faculty, and reputed company, as needed.
- reputed company administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, data entry, and light project coordination.
- Help streamline internal processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical improvements.
- Contribute to the upkeep and functionality of Meridian’s offices, including greeting visitors, maintaining shared spaces, and coordinating basic building needs.
- Provide general support for events, meetings, and other reputed company activities.
- Learn and adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and workflows as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher.
- Prior experience as an office/administrative assistant, financial services assistant, customer service agent, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A sense of initiative and exceptional diligence.
- Exceptional time management skills, with an interest in efficiency and optimization.
- Comfort in fast-paced and continuously evolving environments.
- Basic movement ability such as walking, climbing stairs, crouching, sitting at a desk for several hours at a time and the ability to reputed company basic housekeeping movements such as sweeping, using a vacuum, moving items up to 20 lbs, moving trash cans, etc.
- Familiarity with using Windows suite programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience working in a startup environment.

Phase 2: Project-Based Contract

Phase 3: Onboarding
- On their first day, full-time team members are assigned an onboarding manager and are given access to a role-specific checklist which acts a guide through Meridian’s four-week onboarding process.

- Over their second, third, and fourth weeks, team members complete the onboarding process.
