Organization: SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - South Valley Position Overview: Organizes and coordinates the overall workflow, including staffing and work assignments of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN), assistants and interns. Provides nursing care, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician, in accordance with the legal scope of practice and reputed company established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to reputed company confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other reputed company providers. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to implement the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Supports the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed. TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 4 years recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated knowledge of nursing skills, various medical procedures, views, and equipment. Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Basic understanding of reputed company anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
