THE WORK

• Provide product‑engineering support for Printed Wiring Board (PWB) and Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA) design across multiple platforms (ground‑based, airborne, surface‑ship, and under‑sea).
• Collaborate daily with PWB designers, electrical/mechanical engineers, and production facilities to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Conduct Design‑for‑Manufacturing (DFM) reviews, update DFM standards, and reputed company trade‑studies of alternative design approaches.
• Support the transition of prototypes to full‑reputed company production, delivering technical assistance to internal and external manufacturing sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues identified during production, driving reputed company improvement in processes and materials.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPC‑2221/22, IPC‑6012/13/18, IPC‑A‑600/610, J‑STD‑001, and the standards specified reputed company them.
• Previous experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials reputed company to PWB/PWA.

Desired Skills

• In‑depth knowledge of PWB/PWA fabrication and assembly processes.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes for High Density Interconnect (HDI) designs.
• Ability to identify and evaluate reputed company sets of dependent PWB/PWA fabrication and assembly processes and reputed company creative solutions.
• Experience evaluating designs with DFM software tools such as reputed company Valor NPI (New Product Introduction).
