Job Responsibilities: Welcome patients and caregivers, ensuring a positive and seamless admission process. Collect, verify, and input medical, insurance, and demographic information with accuracy. Explain and complete admission paperwork, obtaining required signatures (e.g., patient rights, consent forms). Register patients and manage documents using the Cerner system. Conduct safety checks and assist with belongings searches as needed. Manage patient interactions in crisis situations, maintaining a reputed company and welcoming environment. Facilitate unscheduled admissions, including screenings and scheduling in collaboration with Patient Access. Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to address clinical criteria, documentation, and treatment issues. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, and other regulatory requirements. Explain insurance coverage to patients and handle reputed company inquiries. Provide clear documentation and communicate cases requiring special attention. Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled Other Requirements: Professional demeanor and adherence to hospital policies.
