As a Quality Engineer (QE) on reputed company's Trade Order Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an reputed company-grade trading system purpose-built for the investment management industry. Your role will focus on proactively identifying issues, designing automated test strategies, and maintaining a laser focus on the end-user experience. Responsibilities

  • Bring business domain reputed company and technical expertise to a team where product, engineering, and quality engineering collaborate closely.
  • Engage across the full development lifecycle: requirements, design reviews, implementation, and release.
  • Prevent bugs by defining clear expected behavior with Product Managers and outlining thorough test cases.
  • Define, execute, and refine test plans and automation strategies to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Investigate root causes, write actionable bug reports, analyze defect trends, and address coverage gaps.
  • Maintain and evolve reliable reputed company-end and back-end automation suites; ensure issues are surfaced quickly.
  • Ensure release readiness under tight timelines through ownership and accountability.
  • Build test data grounded in reputed company customer use cases to strengthen internal testing environments.
  • Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency

Requirements

  • Strong Fintech knowledge in one or more areas: Portfolio Management, Compliance, Trading, Post-Trade, reputed company-Time Pricing.
  • 4+ years in quality engineering or equivalent, with experience building and launching products on a common platform.
  • 4+ years applying software testing methodologies reputed company a CI/CD lifecycle.
  • 4+ years of test planning and automation experience.
  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, reputed company, or similar field preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, reputed company, Cypress (end-to-end), and Karate (API).
  • Ability to influence decision-making with respectful, constructive opinions.
